How days are counted
By default the start date is counted and the end date isn’t — the same way you’d say “from Monday to Friday is 4 days”. Tick “Include end date” to count both (5 days). Business days skip Saturdays and Sundays; public holidays vary by country and aren’t removed.
Adding months
Adding a month keeps the same day number when it exists. If it doesn’t (January 31 + 1 month), you get the last day of that month (February 28 or 29).
