Camera not showing?
- Allow the camera in the address-bar permission prompt.
- Check system privacy settings (macOS: Privacy & Security › Camera; Windows: Settings › Privacy › Camera).
- Close apps that may be using it (Zoom, Teams, OBS).
- Some laptops have a physical shutter or a function key that disables the camera.
What the numbers mean
Resolution is what your camera actually delivers to the browser (we ask for up to 1080p). Measured FPS counts real frames; in dim light many webcams drop to 15 fps to expose longer.

Why is my frame rate low?
Webcams slow down in low light. Add light in front of you, or close other apps using the camera.
