Decimal hours
Payroll often needs decimal hours: 7 h 45 m = 7.75 hours (45 ÷ 60 = 0.75). The calculator shows both.
Night shifts
If the end time is earlier than the start, we assume the shift crosses midnight — 22:00 to 06:00 is 8 hours.
